Description
GT.M is the high-performance database engine offered by FIS (Fidelity National Information Services) Optimized for transaction processing, GT.M is also an application development platform and a compiler for the ANSI/ISO standard M language. The technology is used in several industries around the world, most notably financial services and healthcare.
GT.M supplies the processing power to the FIS Profile enterprise banking application. The technology is a proven platform for building high-throughput database applications for both host-based and client/server architectures.
GT.M on selected platforms is available under the terms of the GNU General Public License (GPL).
What's New in This Release:
· With this release, GT.M goes to 64 bits on the x86_64 platform.
· From the source tarball, both 32- and 64-bit binaries can be built.
· The 64-bit version also generates object files that can be put in standard shared libraries with ld.
